Grip the Helium 6 shoulder width apart and hold the unit directly in front (so your arms are parallel to the floor). While keeping the spine flat against the wall, descend unit, the thighs are parallel with the floor. Hold this position.
The Seated Statue is a deceiving exercise. It greatly strengthens the legs, core, shoulders, and arms. Holding the unit out in front will prove to be challenging. The further the unit/ load is from your centre of gravity the more difficult it is on the abdominals.
Experiment with holding the Helium 6 overhead in this position.
Be sure to adjust the weight if needed.
